USER EXPERIENCE AS A STARTING POINT

After having evaluated some existing projects in the market, we have proposed some different concepts, by offering some simple solutions and layup, in each steps : mounting, fire management and cooking, foldability & cleanability.

prototyping validatioN

Several protoyping phases were necessary to validate the package and structure kinematics. Together with Quechua design team, we tried several ideas to make the cooking experience easier.

A NOMAD AND DURABLE BARBECUE

During this design study, we gathered a lot of feedback from Decahtlon to make the product as simple and as reliable as possible, with an extremely challenging cost limit.

It gave us the opportunity to apply our methodology in eco design, particularly at the concept evaluation phase. We also paid a deep attention to details and finish, to give this unique raw and minimalistic appearance.
